4. Booking and Appointments
4.1 Booking Process
- All bookings must be made by phone or email
- We will confirm appointment details in writing where possible
- Appointments are subject to engineer availability
4.2 Access Requirements
- Customers must ensure safe and reasonable access to work areas
- Clear access paths and adequate lighting must be provided
- Customers should be present or arrange access during appointments
5. Pricing and Payment
5.1 Estimates and Quotes
- All quotes are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified
- Prices may vary if additional work is discovered
- Emergency call-out charges apply for urgent services
5.2 Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed
- We accept cash, bank transfer, and card payments
- Invoices for larger projects may require staged payments
- Late payment charges may apply after 30 days
6. Cancellation and Rescheduling
6.1 Customer Cancellations
- Standard appointments: 24 hours notice required
- Emergency services: Minimum 2 hours notice
- Short notice cancellations may incur charges
6.2 Company Cancellations
- We will provide as much notice as possible
- Alternative appointments will be offered promptly
- No charges apply for company-initiated cancellations
7. Warranty and Guarantees
7.1 Workmanship Guarantee
- 12-month guarantee on all workmanship
- Parts covered by manufacturer warranties
- Guarantee void if work is modified by others
7.2 Limitations
- Guarantees do not cover normal wear and tear
- Existing system faults outside our scope of work are excluded
- Customer misuse or neglect voids warranties
8. Health and Safety
8.1 Our Responsibilities
- All engineers are Gas Safe registered
- We carry comprehensive public liability insurance
- Risk assessments conducted for all jobs
8.2 Customer Responsibilities
- Inform us of any known hazards or site risks
- Ensure pets are secured during work
- Follow all safety advice provided
9. Limitation of Liability
- Our liability is limited to the value of work performed
- We are not liable for consequential or indirect losses
- Claims must be reported within 7 days of discovery
- Our insurance covers up to £2,000,000 for public liability
10. Data Protection
We process personal data in accordance with UK GDPR and our Privacy Policy. Customer information is used solely for service provision and legal compliance.
11. Compliance and Regulations
- All work complies with relevant British Standards
- Gas work performed under Gas Safe registration
- Building regulations compliance where applicable
- Appropriate certificates provided upon completion
12. Complaints Procedure
12.1 Initial Contact
- Contact us within 7 days of the issue arising
- Provide clear details of the concern
- We will investigate and respond within 5 working days
12.2 Escalation
- Unresolved issues can be escalated to management
- Independent mediation may be arranged if needed
- Gas-related complaints can be reported to Gas Safe Register
13. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including severe weather, pandemics, or supply chain disruptions.
14. Intellectual Property
All content on our website and materials is owned by us and protected by copyright. Unauthorized reproduction is prohibited.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by English law and subject to the jurisdiction of English courts.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. Current terms apply to all new bookings from the date of update.
